Quietly establishing himself as a compelling songwriter and performer, Matty Timmons’ music has been lauded by the Milwaukee Record as having “heaps of vulnerability, while being an ear-worm worthy of regular radio rotation,” a challenge well met by local outlets Radio Milwaukee and WMSE where he is often featured. 

Debuting his solo project live on November 8, 2025, his forthcoming solo release is due in December, with an EP expected in spring 2026. His band, Royal Mill, released a slew of singles and EP’s over the last two years to warm reception. He has toured across the Midwest and Southeast US and is a familiar face in local hubs Anodyne, Cactus Club, and MKeUltra. His live performances are engaging and emotionally resonant in both full-band and solo configurations, and he loves little more than sharing stories and music with others.
