About the Event
For composer Malik Johnson a.k.a. 99TheProducer, music is a process of discovery. The program Journey over Destination charts a path through string quartet works Malik has created over several years, from earlier explorations to a world premiere that marks the latest departure on this continuing journey. Each piece invites the audience to experience the development of themes and textures that define a creative pursuit where the path forward is the most meaningful reward.
