Milwaukee's Longest-Running Monthly Comedy Showcase IS BACK! Every  month, four local, regional and nationally-touring comedians bring  their jokes to the Var Gallery stage, among curated artwork of all  kinds: paintings, sculptures, drawings, iron works, and more. Is their  comedy a work of art? Well, that's Subjective. Featuring hilarious local, regional and nationally-touring comedians! Curated by Kaitlin McCarthy Comedic  and artistic tastes are subjective. Some people like Bill Burr and  Picasso. Others prefer Maria Bamford and Andy Warhol. Milwaukee Comedy  and Var Gallery & Studios present Subjective: A Comedic Showing,  where the comedians are the artists and their sets, the work of art.  Each comic on display will prepare an artist statement and at the close  of the show, we'll take questions and critiques from the audience. Tickets are $15.  Seating is limited. Doors open at 7:30. Show begins at 8.

Covid-19 UPDATE (in effect as of 9/17/21): Milwaukee  Comedy will require Proof of Vaccination OR a Negative Covid Test to  attend our shows starting September 17th, 2021. This policy is for the  safety of our guests, comics, and staff, and is inline with other venues  in Milwaukee. • Accepted proof of Covid Vaccination card must match  your name on a state or federal photo ID. Vaccination card or Photo/  Photocopy of card with full front clearly visible. • Negative Covid Test result must be within 72 hours of show time. Failure  to comply with these policies will result in denied entrance and/or  being asked to leave the club and no ticket refund. If you have  purchased tickets to an upcoming show and are unable to attend because  of this policy change, contact us via email PRIOR TO SHOW DATE and we  will grant a full refund of your ticket purchase.
