POETS READ SOME STUFF SOMEPLACE IN MILWAUKEE

We’re thrilled to welcome Jenny Gropp and Laura Solomon to the stage for the next installment of Poets Read Some Stuff Someplace in Milwaukee. As co-executive directors of Woodland Pattern Book Center, Jenny and Laura have been invigorating Milwaukee’s poetry community with innovative programming, wild changes to the historic Woodland Pattern space, and their own brilliant poeticism. Jenny is the author of The Hominine Egg (Kore Press, 2017) and Laura’s collections include The Hermit (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2011), Blue and Red Things (2007), and Bivouac (Slope Editions, 2001).

Edie Roberts will be joining us from Detroit and Jay Latrice will round out the bill for the tenth installment of this quarterly series.

The March 21st event will begin at 7:00pm with an $8 cover, though nobody will be turned away at the door. Var Gallery is an all-ages space with a full bar available to patrons over 21 and the gallery will feature the Emerging Artists Exhibition. The Poets Read Some Stuff Someplace in Milwaukee remains curated by Sam Pekarske with book sales provided by Woodland Pattern Book Center.
