About the Event
What’s Left is made from ice taken from Lake Michigan which was pigmented and left to evaporate on paper. What remains of the ice is a memory. As our world is commodified, species lost, land monetized, ice melted, what is left to the future is a vacancy. What opportunity the future has, to witness and be studied, to grow and evolve is determined by our willingness to leave what few ecologies and species are left a place to exist. Each piece of paper is offered for viewers to take. What is left for future viewers, is up to you.
