Each object is functional as well as sculptural and explores imagery seen in nature: flowers, trees, bee hives, clouds, and landscape, but without clarity. This produces pieces that are pretty on their face, but upon further inspection questions arise. Using monoprinting techniques with colored slip and underglaze, this series reflects on the beauty and decay that exists in nature, and also questions it in relation to the spectre of the anthropocene.
