Talismans are symbolic objects we hold close, with roots in diverse cultural and spiritual practices. Though influenced by individual perspectives, the desire for inner ease is universal. In therapeutic practice, doll making is a vessel for personal and creative expression. A way to create a tangible representation of our experiences. Like a protective talisman, we hold dolls near our bodies for comfort. My work with cloth talisman dolls combines these cultural inspirations with therapeutic art, giving each piece personal and spiritual significance. This series of 30 cloth talisman dolls reflects an intuitive, meditative process. Every stitch is an intentional act, facilitating gratitude, hope, and healing. May these small creations offer moments of comfort, however subtle.
