Justin Scroggins

Pig Latin for Mirror started as a material study designed to explore color and form.  As each piece was made I found that they started to reflect everyday emotions, concerns, and experiences. Each of these reflections is made from a NERF-like flexible foam material adding a sense of play and performance. As this series progressed, the funky faces moved away from material study and ultimately became a reminder to aketay ityay easyay.
