With this body of work I'm drawing attention to the various pockets of light around Milwaukee. These clusters of sunlight feel very alive to me and provide a sense of comfort. They ebb and flow as time progresses and are often missed if one is not looking for them. The little pockets of light are always something I can look for when I'm struggling - they ease my anxiety and make me feel less alone. This project was a daily exercise of going out in my community to find these moments of light. The month of January is a very dark month which makes it an especially important time for this practice.
